Since this site has been build upon the bones of mediumship, I again would like to say a few words on the subject, even though it was already covered in the FAQ section.

The majority of people all have the latent ability within them to be mediumistic, but only a very few of them will go the extra mile and investigate all the options available to them. The world has lost a great many talented mediums and healers, simply because most of them chose not to pursue the unfoldment of that gift, and that is a great shame. There are two different types of mediums. Firstly there is mental mediumship, and that is by and large the most common type you are likely to encounter. Secondly there is physical mediumship. This type is a lot rarer. The late Leslie Flint was a great exponent of this type of communication. He was a Direct Voice medium, that means that you could actually hear the voice of the deceased, or even detect their mannerisms. This is a form of trance-mediumship, and a proper dialogue would be established. His guide was able to make the connection possible, and with the aid of ectoplasm, a voicebox would be constructed through which an entity could be heard. This channeling was and remains a verifiable fact. He was one the most tested and studied medium of all times, which caused him much distress. Here we are concerned mainly with the mental form. Within mental mediumship, there are three main categories. The words are derived from the french, and they are Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Clairsentience. That means you will either see, hear or feel clearly. All mediums possess either one or a mixture of all three of them in no particular order. Psychometry and Trance among others are different aspects of mediumship, subjects which will be covered a little later on. If you are lucky enough to be asked to join a private circle, you will then be in a position to be taught properly, from the ground upwards so to speak. Rules in development circles can be very strict and you will have to fulfill all the conditions and abide by them. You will learn, among other things, that you can be in communication with your spiritguide's, and you can draw upon this help as and when you need it. You will be taught how to do this. No proper communication with the other side is in actual fact possible without the co-operation of your guide/s, who will connect with you telepathically. There are a lot of people out there who claim to be mediums, but never had the proper training. No doubt, they are doing a lot of good work, but there is a lot of what I call Vapouring going on, and that is not mediumship in the classic sense of the word. Looking back, in my old circle I have been taught never to speak ill of another medium, something that I strictly adhere to, but I think it was being fair to you to mention this, and that you must never underestimate the benefits of good and proper teaching, so that these difficulties can be prevented in the future. Unless you have been born with the ability to communicate with the other side, and have the blessing from spirit to do so from an early age, you may find that it will take some time to master. In any case, quite often you would have had some indication from spirit quite early on, whether your journey will lead you into these areas.

If you ask any working medium, whether their lives have been changed by spirit and doing spirits work, they will all tell you that they feel more fulfilled, that they Love infecting others with their light and that their lives were enriched on virtually all fronts. The greatest infection of all is to be infected by the Love and Light of God. It will bring about a change in you, that is difficult to foresee before embarking on the journey. It is the most wondrous thing that could happen to a person. Bearing this in mind, I wish for you all possible blessings.
