NEGATIVITY AND JUDGMENT

It may be difficult for a lot of people to accept the fact that this earth was designed to be negative. This is absolutely deliberate. This planet has always been and will always be negative. The negativity we are all experiencing serves a higher purpose and was planned by the Creator from the beginning. What would be the point of an incarnation, if we could not react against negativity and thus learn and grow by it. You see, you are fighting opposition, indifference or resistance day in and day out, and this is meant to be. The only thing you have got to be careful of, is that you don't create more negativity while you are busy fighting it. In the light of this knowledge, consider the following.

Since you can not, and do not know the motives and actions of another person, you must abstain from judging them. You may judge yourself, if that is your wish, but not another. When you commit yourself to judgment, then your are voicing that you would like to change a given situation, or an act committed by another until it is more in line with your preference, and the way you would like to see things done or resolved. Most experiences in life are predetermined, that means that things were planned by all concerned prior to incarnating. Remember, for every victim there has to be a victimiser. Should countries go to war, there will be winners and losers, yet everyone suffers on either side. The fact that we may not like or appreciate the various scenarios of war is completely besides the point. Since you can only live your own life and not someone else's, you have not got the right to pronounce any person good or bad. The socially adopted ethics of the population as a whole is another topic altogether. Judgment and justice are two entirely separate issues, because the word justice implies the use of universal principles which none can escape. Since we have laws in our society which we have embraced and accepted, our movements are restricted within these laws. The topic touched upon here is of personal judgment, not the justice of a system.

When you judge someone, you will stifle your evolvement. To try to devalue the live or actions of another entity is to do harm to one's own self. The only thing that will set you free is the truth, and judging another will go against that tenet. I understand, it is not always easy to watch what one say's and does, but that is exactly what is required. You will always reap what you sow, so be mindful of your words and your actions. Do this, and I know you will appreciate your harvest. I would like to close this topic with an excerpt of John Powells book "Through Seasons Of The Heart" (HarperCollins Publishers 1987), in which he explains. "Judgments are death to true dialogue. Furthermore, the kind of judgments we are tempted to make usually involve a kind of indirect, destructive criticism that is fatal to self-acceptance, self-appreciation and celebration. And when these are gone, love is lost." We really can't afford to lose any more love then we have already lost, don't you agree?
