The subject of Love is very dear to me. As a medium I am touched
by it's force daily in one form or another. I would like to
share this little anecdote with you, so let us talk about
love, this pinnacle of emotions. On the surface it sounds
easy enough, yet the waters of Love run very deep indeed, and
if you tried to explain it, you find you have a hard job on
your hands.
I used to say (and still do) that it
is strange, that the seemingly easiest things in life can
be the most difficult to explain. The process of breathing
for instance or the beating of the heart. Consider this, how
does the heart know that it has to start beating, initially?
It is as if it has a foreknowledge of it's intended function.
Even in this modern day and age, doctors find this difficult
to explain with absolute certainty, and we all know they are
no fools.
Now, coming back to this little thing
called Love. A friend of mine once asked me what it actually
meant Everything in life can be known, everything is knowable,
so what actually is Love? Surely it can be explained using
every day language. This question should be dear to everyone
of us. Now thinking back on it, I forgot to ask him what type
of Love he was referring to. I naturally assumed, that he
meant the Love of God and Spirit. We are all effected by Love
one way or another. We all want it, we all crave for it. It
seems to make the world go round.. Without it we can not grow
spiritually or emotionally. The lack of it can make us feel
pretty miserable. Now I really took my friends question to
heart and found myself quite preoccupied with it. I went to
numerous bookshops and libraries trying to find an answer
to this most puzzling and surely oldest of questions. The
best and simplest of explanations I have yet found, is that
Love is an expression of the spirit and in itself is the substance
of creation. Love is the prime vibration, the first and most
important vibration of existence, the very stuff of life itself.
That is the reason why everything functions when we are in
Love, everything's works. Once we are touched by Love, nothing
else seems to matter. Look back at your own life when you
fell in Love. Now ask yourself, did it really matter that
you had to wait for a bus for an hour, or that you was stuck
in a traffic jam for ages? It didn't mean a thing, did it
.Love was working within you doing it's magic, and was the
only thing that mattered. Being in Love means that you have
synchronised with the prime vibration of existence.

The moment you have
in your heart this extraordinary
thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy
of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.
